
In 2003, over 120 youths from the Manchester area benefited from our Harvest project which took place between 22 July and 26 August. Subsequently 50 youths joined our centre as members.
The project was facilitated by a summer youth worker, who was responsible for the running of this project. It was part financed by the European Regional Development Fund and run jointly with Wai Yin Chinese Women Society.
Various activities were organised, including:
- A sports day
- Drugs awareness workshop
- First aid workshop
- Emotional management workshop
- Hiking trips
- Go-karting
- Stop smoking workshop
- Cycling
- A barbecue with art workshop
