Health Talk in Portsmouth

We held a health talk in Portsmouth in association with the Chinese Women and Youth Society. Event on the day included healthy cooking seminar, health talk on back pain, and stretching and strengthening exercise.
Hep B Clinic for Chinese
From 4 October 2007
This screening service for Chinese began on Thursday 4 October. It ran every Thursday afternoon and was staffed by hepatology nurses from UCLH. It screened 167 Chinese people from London and beyond and helped to demonstrate the need for a Chinese-specific screening and vaccination service.
Mid Autumn Festival celebration

Over 200 people visited our health stall during Mid Autumn Festival celebration in Chinatown.
Healthy Cooking Training Seminars in Northern Ireland
The Chinese Healthy Cooking Takeaway funded by County Antrim’s Investing for Health was a great success. 47 chefs from 42 takeaways were trained. 16 environmental officers were also trained to undertake the healthy cooking inspection. Now Belfast City Council is thinking of commissioning us to carry out similar work for their Chinese takeaways in the city.
